Passarela do Samba is a sambadrome located on Avenida Marquês de Sapucaí, in the central area of the city of Rio de Janeiro, in Brazil. Inaugurated in 1984, the venue is the stage for the most famous popular festival in Brazil, the Parade of samba schools in Rio de Janeiro, which is held annually during the Carnival holiday.
