About

She has been working for over 20 years in the fields of cultural production, events, audiovisual media, and public relations. She began her career in theater and worked as a model and hostess, participating in major events and campaigns for national and international brands. She was a partner at Truque Produções, where she produced corporate and cultural events and created pioneering black music parties, such as NaBeca and Baile Black Power. For nine years, she worked at the Centro Afrocarioca de Cinema, producing and coordinating workshops, debates, courses, and screenings focused on African and diaspora cinema, in addition to serving as Master of Ceremonies for the Zózimo Bulbul Black Cinema Festival. A self-taught researcher of Black culture, she has been leading workshops on Black History in Humanity for the past five years. She is the creator, screenwriter, producer, and director of AfroDayNews, an educational program aired on CULTNE TV dedicated to Black history and culture.
