About
Singer, songwriter, producer, and writer.
Since 2012, she has been singing professionally and participating in major events related to music, culture, and women’s issues in the city of Rio de Janeiro. She is part of a generation of women who sing and research Brazilian rhythms, their composers, genres, fundamentals, and origins.
Since 2012, she has been singing with and producing the groups “Moça Prosa,” a movement of female samba dancers, and the “Awurê” Group. In 2018, she began writing and contributing to anthologies written with other women.
In 2021, together with the Awurê group, she released the documentary film “Awurê in Bahia - The Route of Samba de Roda,” for which she directed the research. In 2021, she released her music albums with the groups Awurê and Moça Prosa, as well as her first single, “O que é bom cultuar,” on all digital platforms.
