The DAWN Movement

90 min - 1 Season - 4 Episodes

A profound reflection on women’s role in the labor movement, the challenges posed by development to women living in poverty, and the development of a global feminist policy.

The challenge and importance of organizing women—who are often illiterate and marginalized—into unions to secure labor rights and decent working conditions are among the reasons for creating feminist spaces. This series explores the creation of DAWN, an international network that seeks to bring together women from different continents to discuss feminist policies tailored to the specific realities of poor women in the developing world, as well as other aspects of the women’s struggle.
