An anti-apartheid leader and 1984 Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Desmond Tutu visited Brazil in 1987 and met with Benedita da Silva, Abdias Nascimento, Januário Garcia, Milton Gonçalves, Zé Miguel, and Justo de Carvalho.
