During the Meeting of the Center for Women in Favelas and Peripheral Areas, leaders of the metalworkers’ opposition and community representatives highlighted the importance of women’s participation in labor and social movements.
Testimonials address the underrepresentation of women in labor unions and the need to overcome this inequality, as well as advocating for the strengthening of women workers’ organizations and the fight against sexism and violence.
