The Afro Memória program is an initiative of Afro-Cebrap dedicated to recovering, preserving, and disseminating the memory and legacy of activists and organizations within Brazil’s Black movements, particularly since the 1960s. The project works to digitize historical collections and promote racial education and literacy; created to combat historical erasure, the program focuses on Black community organizations and on highlighting the life stories of intellectuals, artists, and activists.
