What is black animation

Series of interviews, “What is black animation?”, Presents the social practice of Brazilian animation cinema from the point of view of black producers and black producers. The aim is to shed light on these productions and understand the production of meaning that exists in a black animation in the current context. It is divided into 4 episodes of 11 minutes. The interviewees were: kalor Pacheco, screenwriter from Pernambuco and creator of the series “Bia Desenha”; Jamile Coelho, Bahian director of the short “Òrun Àiyé”; Jefferson Batista, Pernambuco director of the short film “When does the rain come?” and Valu Vasconcelos, Rio director of the series “Jarau”.
