Thereza Santos

Thereza Santos was a black woman, born in Rio de Janeiro on July 7, 1930, former activist of the Communist Party, theatrical, actress, teacher, philosopher, carnival and militant for the causes of the African peoples of the diaspora and the continent and, mainly, of Afro-Brazilians with the play "And now we speak" together with sociologist Eduardo de Oliveira e Oliveira, authors of several articles on culture and women, Advisor for Afro-Brazilian Culture at the State Secretariat of Culture of the State of São Paulo 1986-2002.
