Health of the Black Population

The health of the black population reflects the inequality between blacks and whites that marks Brazilian society. And even in the single health system, it is possible to find the reproduction of racism. This is despite the fact that blacks and browns are 70% of SUS users. In recognition of these inequalities, in 2009, the national comprehensive health policy for the black population was created. (Fiocruz)
