Nossas Histórias

This action is understood as a way to reposition the academic researches of excellence produced by black historians and black historians on the most diverse topics involving people of African descent in Brazil and in the world. The project seeks to serve the purposes of re-educating ethnic-racial relations and anti-racist historical literacy. The texts produced aim to strengthen reflections on overcoming racism in Brazil and democratizing knowledge through historical literacy practices. The project has a special interest in contributing to the process of implementing Law no. 10,639 / 2003, which made the teaching of African and Afro-Brazilian history and culture mandatory. For that, in addition to having an explanatory video available at Cultne, at the end of the texts it will be possible to find the codes of skills described in the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) to which the contents covered are associated.
