Brazilian Black Front

Brazilian Black Front On September 16, 1931, one of the greatest black entities of the 20th century was born in São Paulo: the Frente Negra Brasileira. It came in the wake of several entities that were formed at the beginning of the last century. Its mission was to integrate Afro-descendant people into society. Self-styled "political and social organ of the race", the Front reached unusual dimensions, even becoming a political party.
