Brazilian Black Front - Full Edition

Brazilian Black Front On September 16, 1931, one of the greatest black entities of the 20th century was born in São Paulo: the Frente Negra Brasileira. It came in the wake of several entities that were formed at the beginning of the last century. Its mission was to integrate Afro-descendant people into society. Self-styled "political and social organ of the race", the Front reached unusual dimensions, even becoming a political party. If we think about the social situation at the time, in which unemployment among men was high (black women were the mainstay of families, as the job of maid gave them some salary), in which educational conditions were precarious, the Front carried out amazing feats.
