Carioca do Morro Cantagalo and son of singer Aroldo Silva, André Luis Sobreira dos Santos, was born with an artistic presence at his side. To help support the house, he worked at an imported record store. There, he was invited by the coordinator Sonia Freitas, to present the program “Perdidos da Madrugada”, on RPC radio. At that time, André created his very famous character, Andrea Gasparetty, exceeding expectations and making the program the audience leader of the station.

Black Fair 2007 - Rappin 'Hood

LUB TV registered Rappin 'Hood's participation as a DJ at Feira Preta in its sixth edition in 2007. Meeting of culture, citizenship, education and solidarity economy, Feira Preta brings together numerous representatives of Afro-Brazilian culture and dozens of entrepreneurs from different regions of Brazil. The opportunity to group so many participants in a single space, presenting each work in a broad way, and to feed the exchange of experiences, exchanges and conceptual discussions, adds a lot to the process of collective construction that promotes racial equality. Feira Preta is an event that takes place annually, usually in the second week of December, ending the cycle of events that occur in the month of black awareness and encouraging the purchase of ethnic products for Christmas gifts.
