TV Globo RJ TV 1st Edition - FliSamba

Journalist Fábio Júdice was at Renascença and recorded the program shown on RJ TV 1st Edition on July 9, 2016. On July 10th, Renascença Clube launched FliSamba – Literary Festival of Samba and Cultural Resistance. The proposal is to bring together, in the same event, samba dancers, writers and poets and entrepreneurs whose work focuses on Afro-Brazilian culture and samba from Rio de Janeiro. The event will feature the special participation of writer and samba dancer Nei Lopes.

Elé Semog at Flisamba 2021

The poet and short story writer Elé Semog participated in the Flisamba - Literary Festival of Samba and Cultural Resistance in 2021. His participation was virtual due to the pandemic.

Flisamba - Called CD Canto do Urubu

Flamengo's night was celebrated at the Blue Note concert hall, in Lagoa, Zona Sul of Rio, and crowned with the special appearances of great names in Brazilian music, such as Anderson do Molejo, Dudu Nobre, Jorge Vercillo, Leny Andrade, Neguinho da Beija-Flor, Sandra de Sá, Xande de Pilares and singer Joyce Cândido interpreting the music recorded by Zezé Motta, who was unable to attend due to a commitment.

On July 10th, Renascença Clube launches FliSamba – Literary Festival of Samba and Cultural Resistance. The proposal is to bring together, in the same event, samba artists, writers and poets and entrepreneurs whose work focuses on Afro-Brazilian culture and the samba from Rio de Janeiro. In addition to literature, the program includes gastronomy with a stew festival, samba circle and exhibition of products by Afro-entrepreneurs.

The second edition of FliSamba – Literary Festival of Samba and Cultural Resistance (July 2017) featured special tributes to samba artists Dona Ivone Lara and Nelson Sargento, two icons of samba and MPB, for their work as a whole. Another high point of the party was the launch of the book “Na meu pele”, by actor Lázaro Ramos, which brought together a crowd of fans, including actresses Ruth de Souza and Zezé Mota, who attended the event highlighting its importance.

Flisamba - 4th edition

Pioneer and already traditional manifestation of the genre in Brazil, the 4th edition of Flisamba - Literary Festival of Samba and Cultural Resistance - was conducted by actress Lica Oliveira and Youtuber Jonathan Raimundo, opening space for authors to present their literary works, in addition to a lot of music on February 8, 9 and 10, 2021. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the celebration followed all WHO safety standards for the prevention of Covid-19 and using technology to unite Brazilian communities, spreading black culture nationwide.
