Short film about Adhemar Ferreira da Silva, a black athlete who was the first two-time Brazilian Olympic champion. He won gold medals in the triple jump at the Helsinki Olympics in 1952 - surpassing the world record - and at the Melbourne Olympics in 1956. He was also three times champion at the Pan American Games: Buenos Aires in 1951, Mexico City in 1955 - surpassing for the second time the world record - and Chicago in 1959. In 2012, he was immortalized in the Athletics Hall of Fame.
