On that occasion we recorded the African American singer Michaela Harrison who performed the chapel "A Change Is Gonna Come" by Sam Cooke. The American singer Michaela Harrison, based in New Orleans, has enchanted audiences in several countries with her rare voice and reach. The artist began singing in church at the age of five. She has studied and lived in East Africa and Brazil, being fluent in French and Portuguese, and familiar with Spanish and Swahili. Her repertoire, in addition to authorship, also includes jazz, pop, blues and MPB classics.

Amarildo Dias de Souza (Rio de Janeiro, 1965/1966) was a Brazilian stonemason's assistant, a resident of Rocinha, who became known nationally because of his disappearance, since July 14, 2013, after being detained by military police and driven from the door of his house, in Favela da Rocinha, towards the headquarters of the neighborhood's Pacifying Police Unit. His disappearance became a symbol of cases of abuse of authority and police violence.1 The main suspects in Amarildo's disappearance are the police itself.

Although the march route had already been agreed, the protesters were stopped by a strong military police apparatus and the army prevented the march from reaching the Zumbi dos Palmares monument in Praça Onze, in downtown Rio de Janeiro.
