MasterChef Brasil is a Brazilian culinary talent show exhibited by Rede Bandeirantes, based on the renowned original format of the same name exhibited by the BBC in the United Kingdom. The program is presented by journalist Ana Paula Padrão and the judges are the heads Henrique Fogaça, Érick Jacquin and Paola Carosella. Rio Chef Thiago Di Castro will compete for a place to participate in the program. Thiago has a degree in gastronomy in Brazil and a postgraduate degree in France. The main dish he chose is feijoada, which led him to be elected "O Rei da Feijoada" in 2016 and 2017 by the newspaper "O Globo" and "Revista Veja".
