Lazzo Matumbi - Senegal
Concert by Brazilian singer Lazzo Matumbi in the city of Dakar, Senegal in 1986 during the commemorations of the Memorial Gorré-Almadies in Goreé Island, a slave warehouse located in front of Dakar. Most slaves left for our continent. Gorée Island is a tourist resort off the coast of Senegal. The island is a symbol of the terror that Europe has promoted on the African continent. For that reason, that cursed place was considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Considered the Infernal Island of No Return, Gorée Island is a 900-meter embankment artificially formed by European powers off the coast of Senegal to serve as a terror port (for slaves). This type of port was always very difficult to install on the continent, because they were often invaded by cannibals.
